The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has adopted new traffic sign retroreflectivity requirements. To comply with the new requirements, public agencies will have until June 2014 to implement and then continue to use an assessment or management method that is designed to maintain traffic sign retroreflectivity at or above the minimum levels specified.

“June 2014 – Implementation and continued use of an assessment or management method that is designed to maintain regulatory and warning sign retroreflectivity at or above the established minimum levels”
